Privacy Policy

Account information: when you sign in, we collect your name, email address, and profile image through our authentication provider (Clerk).

Order information: delivery or pickup address, phone number, the items you order, and your order history.

Payment information: online payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not receive or store your full card number.

Content you provide: product reviews and ratings you submit, and — if you run a store on Aghdas Market — your store details, product listings, and product images.

The mobile app requests camera and photo library access only for store owners and managers adding or editing products — to scan a product's barcode (SKU/UPC) or to take or choose a product photo. Regular shoppers browsing and ordering never need to grant either permission.

We don't access your camera or photos in the background, and nothing is captured or uploaded unless you actively choose to scan a barcode or select a photo.

We use the information above to:

• Create and manage your account, and let you sign in on both the website and mobile app;
• Process, fulfill, and let you track your orders;
• Communicate with you about your orders and account;
• Let store owners manage their own store, products, and orders;
• Detect and prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations (including tax and accounting records);
• Maintain and improve the security and reliability of our website and app.

We share order details (your name, delivery/pickup address, and items ordered) with the store fulfilling your order, so they can prepare and deliver it.

We use third-party services to run Aghdas Market, each of which processes data on our behalf under its own privacy policy: Clerk (account sign-in), Stripe (payment processing), Vercel (website hosting), Neon (database hosting), and ImageKit (product image hosting).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Order records are kept for as long as needed for accounting, tax, and legal purposes, even after an account is closed.

You can review and update your account information at any time from your account settings. To request deletion of your account or personal information, contact us at viunamarket@gmail.com — we'll honor your request except where we're required to retain certain records (for example, completed order records for tax purposes).

Aghdas Market is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including relying on established providers (Clerk, Stripe) for authentication and payment handling. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here, with an updated date at the top of this page.
